Stamford Democrats Gather To Nominate DeVito And Full Slate
Mid
summer had arrived in Stamford. The music of Alive at Five
emanated from Columbus Park and echoed throughout the Downtown
as the crowds meandered and the minutes flowed by. The rhythm
of success also emanated from the Government Center - poised
to echo throughout Stamford as the days and nights pressed
on.
The
Stamford Democrats, having led the way through both
good times and tough times, were once again nominating
candidates - complete with experience and enthusiasm
to serve their fellow Stamford Citizens.
By unanimous acclamation the City Committee accepted
the Nominating Committee's recommendations and candidates'
offers to serve their Greater Stamford Community in
the following capacities:

The night of nominations has come to a close. Summer has turned
into the fall. We march on with the energy ignited by the passion
of dreams spoken and promises kept. Our people are safe; our
policies are sound. Stamford Democrats are doing their job -
day by day - neighbor by neighbor. We have worked, we are working
and we will continue to work for each and every citizen of the
City that Works.
Soon
we will travel from our homes and offices to this year's Campaign
Headquarters at 42 Sixth Street. Join us as we continue the
campaign to elect good people to govern a great community.
