Mary Lou Rinaldi 
|
Mary Lou, currently the Chair of The Board of Finance, was first elected to the Board in 1995 and is now serving in her 3rd term. She also served 8 terms on the Stamford Board of Representatives and was elected by her peers in 1993 to be the President of that Board. She is a native of Stamford and a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Bridgeport. Mary Lou is employed by the General Electric Company where she serves in a management role. She has served as an elected official in Stamford for 28 years and currently volunteers on numerous Stamford community boards.

| Arielle Reich

Arielle was born and raised in Stamford and graduated from Yeshiva University in 2005. She attended graduate school in Boston and moved back to Stamford to join Dan Malloy's Gubernatorial campaign. Arielle also worked on the Ned Lamont for Senate and Andrew McDonald for State Senator campaigns and has since stayed closely involved in local politics. She currently serves as the Vice President of Organization and Chapter Development for the newly charted Southern Fairfield County Young Democrats and is completing a Masters of Public Health at Columbia University.

Mike holds a BA from the University of Colorado and a Master's Degree from Georgetown University. He was Mayor Malloy's campaign manager in 2005.

Bob was a member of the Board of Education from 1994-2000. He is retired from a management position at IBM and is currently employed at the Union Baptist Church.

Monica Hoherchak

|
Monica has been involved in the Stamford Public Schools for the past 9 years. She has served as Rogers PTO President, the Parent Teacher Council co-President and as the Rippowam Co-President. She organized, with the PTCouncil, the bi-annual educational forum called Navigating Stamford Public Schools.
She is a graduate of Columbia University with a BA in Psychology and a graduate of Sacred Heart University with a MAT in early childhood education. She has taught preschool at the Family Center at Bank Street College and elementary school in the NYC public schools. She is married with 4 children in the Stamford Public Schools.

Unafraid to make difficult decisions -- her platform focuses on ensuring a quality education for all students regardless of background; and improved communications between parents and Stamford's educators, administrators and school board. In this complex world, she supports professional development to expand a teacher's ability to instruct students from a variety of circumstances.

Patricia Miller

Walter Neary

|
Walter L. Neary Jr.,currently represents the 9th District on the Stamford Board of Representatives. He has been a Stamford resident for 7 years. He has worked in web design and publishing for a decade and a half, and has designed websites for local businesses, churches, and organizations. He is an active member of St. John the Evangelist parish and of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Stamford. He was active in working to assure appropriate zoning decisions for District 9 in the past and is glad to have received the nomination by the Stamford Democrats to run for elction this fall for that seat.

Carolyn Young
|
Carolyn Young currently represents the 10th District on the Stamford Board of Representatives. She sits on the Parks/Recreation, Education and Public Safety Committees. She was born and raised in Stamford and is a graduate of the Stamford public schools system. Carolyn is well known for the manner in which she responded to her constituents last year in opposing the siting of unpopular city program in the district. She is employed at the Stamford Lord and Taylor.

Marrion has been an officer in the parentteacher organizarions at stillmeadow, Cloonan and Stamford High Schools.

Jean Gray
|
Jean, a resident of Stamford since 1986, is a Vice President for General Reinsurance, where she has worked for 20 years. She graduated with an Associates degree in Information Technology from Norwalk Technical College and an undergraduate’s degree in business management from Pace University.
Jean has been active in both the Parent Leadership Training Institute and Parent SEE--Parent Seeking Educational Excellence. Through those organizations, she has facilitated a community meeting with the Superintendent of Stamford schools.
Jean is active at St. Leos church where she taught religious education classes, volunteered at the annual fair, along with fund raising and and other activities. She also volunteers serving meals at the New Covenant house soup kitchen and McKinley House.
Jean is married and has a 7 year old son in the Stamford public school system.
