to the official website of the Stamford Democratic City Committee.
The Democratic Party in Stamford is a vibrant and diverse
group of dedicated people, all of whom volunteer their time.
I encourage you to browse our site and familiarize yourself
with the people representing you in Stamford government and
Democratic Party positions.
Every
two years, Democratic City Committee members are elected.
Our city is divided into 20 districts, with each district
electing two City Committee members. Members help select candidates
who run for, or are appointed to, City government positions.
They attend conventions that nominate state and federal candidates
and work on election campaigns.
Remember,
democracy is not a spectator sport!
City
boards and commissions cannot run without people, like yourself,
willing to serve. Our Party welcomes your ideas and input.
I invite you to attend Democratic City Committee meetings and
events and to become an active member of the Democratic Party.
Together, we can keep Stamford a great place to live and work!
